Gorgeous Flowers in Saint-Germain-des-Prés

It is easy to get lost on a Parisian street in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris with its elegantly curved buildings and soothing bluish green tones.

I wove my way through boulevards and stone sidewalks, peering into cafes with smartly dressed customers nibbling on their meals and sipping wines and coffee, some with books or newspapers, others deep in conversation with friends.

I walked through its side streets, enjoying the romantic sensibility of Saint Germain that is cool, collected, and totally at ease.

Then, suddenly I came upon this shock of brightness — gorgeous flowers, potted, and summering in the Parisian sun.
