Paris Under the Rain in Montparnasse

It’s the 44th day of the metro strike in Paris, which means I have probably racked up about a million steps by now since I haven’t let it interrupt my quest for delicious bites and all that the city has to offer.

But as the winter chill deepens and a mist of rain seems to be just around every corner, I have decided to cozy up with a warm drink this weekend in a quaint café in Montparnasse to read, write, and plan.

Because while thousands of steps to a destination during the grève can be invigorating, sometimes an intimate perch in one spot, is the best way to see Paris.

Un chocolat chaud, s’il vous plaît…

How will you spend your weekend?
